Hi, I’m Kanitra!
Sometimes life starts to look different than what you originally planned and that’s OKAY!
I know we all remember being asked what you wanted to be when you grow up and a lot of us may have had an idea and some of us may have not (I honestly don’t remember, lol), but If I could it probably was a chef or a movie star 😩. If you ask me that today it’s honestly whatever the hell I want to be and put my mind to.
My life is totally different than what I envisioned. For as long as I can remember, I always said I didn’t want children, now I have three! I was discouraged as a young adult to pursue my passion for medicine and now, at year 30 I’m in Undergrad, on my 2nd year of my Pre-Med Track.
If you ask me that today, it’s whatever the hell I want to be!
I’m also engaged! I’ve been with my person for 8 years and we’ve been engaged for about 2.5 years. We’re getting married this year and I can’t wait to share that with yo all as well. When I’m not working or spending time with my family, I love to create content. I’m pretty active on all social media platforms and have just recently started taking YouTube a little bit more serious, which is also the reason for my blog in a way.
I started my blog in 2020 during the pandemic because I’ve always was very good at creative writing and during that time we didn’t have much to keep our minds busy anyway. However, a lil while after I decided to shut down my website because I kept telling myself I couldn’t do it. Fast forward to today and I’m BACK AND BETTER. I’m excited to embark on this journey again and I am honored you chose to join me.
